DR. STEVEN BULO IZONTIMI has over 20 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas sector. He is currently the MD/CEO of SKIDWORKS NIGERIA LIMITED and SKIDWELL SERVICES LIMITED. DR. IZONTIMI started his career with Geoservices Nigeria Limited where he put in Six years as a Well test chief operator; Advanced Logging Production (ALP) Specialist; Down Hole Sampling. He moved to Agip Energy & Natural Resources Limited –(an ENI Subsidiaries in Nigeria) in 2000 where he worked as Control Room/Production Operator, Assistant Production Supervisor, Production Supervisor handling services such as the daily running of the process plant and the operation of a computerized data base with the aid of an Intelligent Operator Control Panel (IOCP) for remote plant control, monitoring, data logging, event recording, data collection and display, regular safe well head operations and also produce water treatment, equipment operation, flow control and delivery. He also worked as a Production/Facilities Maintenance Supervisor on the FPSO Mystras where he was saddle with the responsibilities of managing all top side process equipment, facility, personnel and regular maintenance follow up.
DR. IZONTIMI was later elevated to the FPSO Company/Terminal Representative, representing Agip Energy and Natural resources with the responsibility to oversee the general plant and process system including maintenance activities, administrative and technical aspect of the plant, cargo lifting and interface with Crude Oil Marketing division of NNPC and the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) regulatory processes and permits for the terminal operations.
DR. IZONTIMI last held the position of Senior Facilities Maintenance Engineer at the operational district office which responsibility was to facilitate Project Management/Planning, client/vendor interface in offshore facilities operations which has to do with the daily maintenance of all rotating equipment, pumps, valves, platform structural survey and maintenance, corrosion control scheduling, contractor personnel overview etc.
DR. IZONTIMI was honoured with an honorary doctorate degree in Business Management from London Graduate School / Commonwealth University. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma/ master’s degree in business administration from Enugu State University (ESUT), a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering from the Rivers State Polytechnic Bori. He is a member of Rotary Club of Port- Harcourt Rebisi Kingdom, Fellow Institute of Management Specialist (FIMS), Member Nigerian Association of Technologist in Engineering (NATE), Member Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
