BESTMANN EDEMA has over Twenty (20) years of cumulative experience in Project Management, Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Controls & Monitoring, Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering with track record of formulating strategic procedures, project plans and schedules that enable the on-time completion of large-scale global engagements within the Oil & Gas (Subsea Production Systems, production facilities both brown fields and green fields, Topside modifications of FPSO to accommodate new production facilities and export metering), Power Generation and distribution (Open Cycle Gas Turbine and Combined Cycle Gas Turbine CCGT modes of operation) and Construction industries. He has worked on various aspects/phases of a project which include tendering, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects (EPC).

His key strengths include: developing and reengineering new processes for Project teams to ensure efficient, ongoing operations; managing stakeholders and applying a business partner approach to gather requirements, develop custom procedures, plans and communicate requirements to teams; evaluation of engineering documents, plans and schedules to identify and remediate risks, delays impacting projects or downtime of assets and designing tailored tracking/reporting tools to improve performance monitoring and optimise resource management.
ENGR. EDEMA has successfully provided engineering and project management services to projects across diverse cultures and countries which include Nigeria, UK, Ghana, Norway, Malaysia and Middle East. These roles cover responsibilities for engineering, modelling, design and analysis for optimal performance of power stations, Process/Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams [P&IDs] development/review gained while working for Mott MacDonald Ltd in UK, Ghana & Middle East. He has provided Project planning and Project management services on Subsea Production Systems, production facilities and construction projects whilst working for GE Oil & Gas UK, AMEC Upstream Oil & Gas UK, Aker Solutions Ltd, Vinci Construction Ltd in UK, Norway & Malaysia.
ENGR. EDEMA holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rivers State University of Science & Technology Port-Harcourt and MSc degree in Energy from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh UK. He is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer in Nigeria with COREN. He has concluded several leadership, management and specialist courses/trainings in the UK.
